Securing your phone or tablet!
β€Securing your phone or tablet.
1.Create strong phone pass code
*This is the most vital step for securing your device from being hacked. Don't choose something like 1234 or 0000 as these are way too easy to guess. Get into habit of changing your pass code every month.
*If you have the option to do so, use touch id ,face unlock or fingerprint as the probability of someone being able to fake fingerprint is 1 in 50,000.
2.Keep your operating system and apps up-to-date.
*As soon as an update becomes available for your phone or tablet, install it immediately. These updates often contain patches to address security vulnerabilities.
3.Be skeptical of public USB charging ports.
*These like the ones you may see at the airport or on the train, may be compromised by hackers. So be aware of this before using it.
